A one-day immersive retreat for remembrance, initiation and inner communion

Seeking Self is a conscious turning inward and a pause from the outer world to enter into relationship with your inner one.


This retreat is an invitation to step out of striving and into listening. To soften the mind, inhabit the body and remember the deeper intelligence that has always been guiding you.


Join Yoga Dome owner Ashley Michelle Martin and psychotherapist Laura Bruno for a sacred day retreat rooted in somatic practice, trauma-informed care and spiritual inquiry. Together, we create a ceremonial container where healing is not something to achieve, but something that unfolds through presence, compassion and truth.

This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about 
returning to what is already whole.

Through embodied ritual, reflective practice and intentional rest, we will explore where you may feel fragmented or disconnected and gently guide you back toward inner coherence, soul alignment and self-trust.


What the Day Holds:


✨ IFS Parts Work & Inner Child Healing: A Sacred Inner Council
Using Internal Family Systems as both a psychological and spiritual map, we will enter the inner world as a 
sacred terrain, one where every part of you exists for a reason and carries a piece of your life force.

Rather than suppressing or bypassing inner voices, we will welcome them into an inner council encouraging listening to protectors, wounded parts, caretakers and seekers with reverence. At the heart of this work is the Self: your essential, calm, compassionate presence that is often described in spiritual language as higher self, soul or inner witness.

By reconnecting with the inner child and tending to parts that have held fear, grief or responsibility, we engage in an act of soul retrieval and work towards restoring inner harmony, belonging and trust in your own inner guidance.


✨ Somatic Breathwork: Breath as Spirit
Breathwork is approached as a sacred exchange between body and spirit. Through conscious breathing patterns, we activate the body’s innate wisdom and open energetic pathways where emotion, memory and life force have been held.

As the breath moves, so too does what has been stagnant. This practice supports emotional release, nervous system regulation and a renewed sense of vitality, allowing you to feel more inhabiting of your body and more connected to the present moment.


✨ Yoga Nidra: Entering the Liminal Space
Yoga Nidra invites you into the threshold between waking and dreaming, a liminal realm long honored in spiritual traditions as a gateway for deep healing and insight.

As the physical body rests, awareness turns inward. The nervous system settles, the subconscious opens and the deeper layers of the psyche are gently met. This practice offers profound restoration and allows wisdom to integrate without effort.


✨ Sound Bath: Vibrational Alignment
Sound is used as a vibrational medicine. The resonance of crystal bowls and therapeutic instruments moves through the body, dissolving energetic congestion and restoring harmonic balance at a cellular level.

This experience is often felt as being held, cleared or recalibrated all while supporting emotional release, nervous system soothing and a sense of returning to inner resonance.


✨ Guided Meditation & Visualization: Communion with Inner Truth
Through guided meditation and visualization, you will be invited into direct relationship with your inner wisdom. These practices support heart opening, intuitive listening and alignment with what is emerging within you.

Rather than setting intentions from the mind, this practice allows insight to arise from the deeper layers of self, clarifying what you are ready to embody and call forward in your life.


✨ Journaling, Reflection & Integration: Anchoring the Wisdom
Spacious pauses throughout the day allow for journaling, reflection and personal integration. Writing becomes a ritual of translation that may bring what is felt, sensed and revealed into conscious awareness.

This time supports grounding insight into lived experience, ensuring that what opens during the retreat can be carried forward with clarity and care.


✨ Nourishing Light Lunch
A thoughtfully prepared, plant-based meal serves as a grounding ritual that reminds the body that nourishment is both physical and spiritual.

Sharing food together invites connection, presence and the simple medicine of being human in community.


The Container:

The Yoga Dome offers a sacred, held space for this work. Everything is provided: mats, blankets, cushions, tea and water. We want you to arrive unburdened and supported.


You are invited to come exactly as you are: curious, tender, tired, open, uncertain.

This retreat is for those seeking depth without overwhelm, spirituality without doctrine and healing that honors both science and soul.

Space is intentionally limited to preserve intimacy and energetic integrity.
