Explore Meditation Monday Mornings 9:00-10:00am
Join us In Dome on Monday mornings for a 60-minute meditation practice. This session will include a portion of open discussion, sharing and Dharma talks.
You may set yourself up seated in a chair or lying down using yoga mats, blankets and props (chairs and use of props included - we have everything you need).
This practice is a deep inner contemplation and commitment and is not a ‘guided meditation’. OM chants will be your anchor and playing in the background as you practice focusing the mind on one point|fixed concentration. Ie. Meditation.
90% of this session will be sitting/laying in stillness working to keep the mind focused in a meditative state.
All levels are welcome to try!
Practicing meditation with intention and as a collective can contribute to a sense of calm and relaxation. Especially in groups where there is a genuine sense of trust and care. Being around people we feel safe with alleviates stress and anxiety, promoting emotional well being.
